MetroGel Generic Metronidazole Use

MetroGel Cream is intended for external use only. MetroGel can only be used on the skin. MetroGel may be harmful, if swallowed.
Before using MetroGel, you have to:
- Wash and dry your hands
- Wash and dry the area to be treated.
- Apply a thin layer of medication and rub gently the medicine until it is evenly spread.
- Wait at least 10 minutes if you want to apply cosmetics.
- Use MetroGel regularly at the same time each day.
- Use MetroGel as directed by doctor.
- Continue to use MetroGel Cream even if you feel better during the treatment, unless a doctor tells you otherwise.
- Use MetroGel Cream on a regular schedule to get the most benefit from it.
Avoid MetroGel around the eye area. Make sure MetroGel doesn’t get into your eyes. If this occurs, wash your eyes with cool water. To notice full benefits, wait at least nine weeks. If you don’t see any improvement after 3 weeks, contact your Doctor. Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use MetroGel Cream.
